NOS HOLY GRAIL 1:12 GMP CORVETTE C5-R PROTOTYPE
THIS IS 96 / 100 MADE WORLDWIDE!
This is a very rare piece that came to us direct from the vaults at GMP! This model number is serial number 0096 of GMP's 2005 ruby red metallic C5R Corvette Street prototype. These serialized cars are made for Tom Long, president of GMP, and shipped directly to him for his private collection. It also comes with a COA from Tom Long, president of GMP, authenticating the car!
In February of 1999, the world got its first look at the future of racing with the introduction of the new C5-R. This Corvette C5-R Racing Series includes Corvettes that have participated in races from 1999 to the present. The Corvette C5-R has the most recognizable lines with sleek body contours, aggressive styling, and performance. This car was what many Corvette fans had been waiting for... the return to glory for Corvette.
GMP has captured this Corvette C5R in 1:12 scale. This replica has over 800 meticulously handcrafted parts and features removable front and rear panels, opening doors, working suspension, steering, and yes, even on board jack stantions under the car.

The large scale of this car (1/12) allows for the most intricate of details. The car has a fully wired and plumbed engine complete with authentic markings and colorings. This can be seen by the removable hood panel. Opening the heavy doors, the interior is packed with textured racing seats and cloth 5-point harnesses. The steering wheel is covered with the same texture and rests in front of a fully detailed dash.
If you remove the rear body panel, you'll find more wires and hoses. Underneath the removable tires are detailed brake rotors with all of the authentic touches possible. Also included with this large car are replica chains and poles to set up around the car to keep audiences back from the vehicle. Four jack stands are also included for use.
